What we store on your device, why, and how to change your mind.
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. Websites also use other kinds of local storage that work in much the same way. This notice covers both, and uses "cookies" throughout to mean either. It sits alongside our privacy notice, which explains everything else we do with your personal data.
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), we may only set non-essential cookies with your consent. So:
Your choice itself is remembered on your device so we do not have to ask again on every page. Clearing your browser's site data will clear it, and we will ask again.
These are needed for the site to work and for our public forms to be usable at all. PECR does not require consent for them, and you cannot turn them off here (your browser can block them, but parts of the site will then stop working).

These tell us how many people visit and which pages they read, so we can make the site better. Nothing here identifies you by name.

These record how someone arrived — including which of our adverts brought them — so we can stop paying for the adverts that do not work, and so an enquiry can be matched to the visit that led to it. We do not use them to build advertising profiles of students.

Two pages load content hosted elsewhere. Our reviews page shows a Trustpilot panel, and some pages load web fonts from Google Fonts. These providers may set their own cookies or use their own storage, under their own notices, which we do not control.
As well as the choice on this site, every major browser lets you block or delete cookies for any site. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop our contact and careers forms working.
